Weekly motivation - week 27
Make the world a better place by making yourself a better person - Scott Sorrell
Make time for yourself so that your cup is full. That way you can give to others. What do you need to do to feel your soul? Reading, writing, running, drawing, education, gym, yoga, eating well, massages, drinking plenty of water, travel (even small trips to favourite locations for half a day escape from reality count) - these are the things that rejuvenate us. They recharge our batteries and enable us to keep giving.
Once you have taken steps to take care of yourself and made yourself the best version of you, then you can start thinking about other things. What can you do to make the life of those around you better? What can you do to contribute to your community? What can you do to make the lives of the next generation easier? Happier? More fulfilling? What can you do to support the older generation (your parents)?
Change is about little things. Little things, when done consistently over long periods of time add up to big things. Do whatever you can whenever you can to take care of yourself so that you leave people happier than when you found them.
